Criminal and Traffic Offenses Dismissed
March 2023
Client was charged with one count of Receiving Stolen Property, a first-degree misdemeanor, and one count of Driving Without a Valid License, an unclassified misdemeanor. Police approached her vehicle because they suspected she was involved in shoplifting at a nearby store. If convicted, she could have been sentenced to up to 180 days of incarceration. Instead, Attorney Fogt convinced the prosecutor that there was insufficient evidence to support the charges based on the facts of the case and the law. As a result, the State dismissed the case and our client was cleared of all wrongdoing.
