Federal Criminal Conspiracy. Result-Multiple Charges Dismissed
March 2023
Client was federally charged with SNAP Fraud, Conspiracy to Commit SNAP Fraud, Aggravated Identity Theft, and Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Drugs. If convicted on all charges, Client could have been sentenced to up to 65 years in prison. Fortunately, Attorney Fogt managed to negotiate a much more favorable outcome. Client plead guilty to only Conspiracy to Commit SNAP Fraud and all other charges were dismissed. Although Client could have been sentenced to up to 5 years in prison on that charge alone, she was only sentenced to 4 months--time served before Attorney Fogt got her released while the case was pending.
