Criminal Charges-Drugs. Result-Community Control.
March 2022
After an undercover drug operation, Client was charged with Possession of Cocaine, a first-degree felony; Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound, a fourth-degree felony; and Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Client was facing the possibility of more than thirteen years in prison, which would have included mandatory time. Fortunately, the case never proceeded to trial as Attorney Fogt was able to resolve the matter with the State. Client ultimately pleaded guilty to only one charge, Tampering With Evidence, a third-degree felony. Due to Attorney Fogt's earnest advocacy, Client was sentenced to only community control (probation). Client never saw the inside of a prison cell and was happy with the result.
