Our Client Retained Residential Custody
A mother retained our office because her ex-husband was attempting to obtain residential custody of their young son, whom had resided with her since the parties' divorce. Attorney Fogt met with her to understand the conflict, gathered necessary documentation, and discussed the circumstances of the case with the opposing side. In doing so, Attorney Fogt clearly demonstrated that it was in the child's best interest to continue residing with his mother and that there had been no significant change of circumstances to legally justify a modification of custody. After being confronted with the facts, the father dismissed his own motion for custody. Our client retained residential custody of her son. The case was resolved in her favor even without having to go to court. Another success!
